First ‘web rage’ attacker jailed (Financial Times)
A 47-year-old man was yesterday jailed for two and a half years in what is said to be the first case of “web rage” in the criminal courts. Paul Gibbons, from south London, had admitted attacking John Jones after abusive exchanges in an internet chatroom.
